Lincoln Action Program - Head Start It’s time to apply for Lincoln Public Schools ExCite/Head Start and Lincoln Action Program Head Start. This program offers services to low-income pregnant women and families with children ages birth to five years old. There is a display on the bulletin board in the Narthex with information and dates about where to go to sign up your children.
Transportation Help Needed? With the current gas prices likely only to increase, do you need or could you provide a ride to worship? Check sign up sheet in the narthex.
Full Course Crossways People who signed up for the full Crossway’s course, and you know who you are, we need to meet to figure out scheduling. Let’s plan on meeting at 10:15 am next Sunday, April 6th, to make sure the Monday night class will be a suitable time for you. If you haven’t paid, please pay Jerilyn.
Husker Softball The Husker Softball team and the Nebraska Athletic Department would like to invite your congregation to the Church Bulletin Days at Bowlin Stadium. On the designated days, members will be able to receive free admission to the Husker softball game, if they present their bulletin from that morning’s worship service! Church bulletins will be honored on the following days: Sunday, March 30th – Oklahoma – Noon; & Sunday, April 27th – Texas A&M – Noon. Visit Bowlin Stadium at Haymarket Park and enjoy your Sunday afternoon at the game! Cause of the Month March – “Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center”

Since 1984, Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center has been here for women who are facing and unplanned pregnancy and need answers. You are scared. You may be alone. You may have no one you can turn to for help. At our center you will find a friendly, compassionate atmosphere where trained peer counselors provide help and hope for the future.

Food Pantry In March, the Lincoln Lutheran Food pantry needs spaghetti sauce, Hamburger Helper, instant potatoes, and canned juice and fruit. The food pantry’s shelves are bare—please make a donation if it’s possible.

Cash donations are used for immediate needs. To donate cash, place it in the collection plate, clearly marked “Food Pantry”.

Christ in our Home for April, May, June 2008 is now in the basket on the table in the narthex. Both large print and regular print are available.
