"Path of the King" is our Lenten theme for this Lenten Season. Lent begins this Wednesday, February 6th. Joyful Noise will practice from 5:00 – 5:45 pm. Our Lenten suppers are from 5:30-6:30 pm with the Outreach Committee serving soup this week. Lenten Worship begins at 7:00 pm. The theme this week is “The King shows His true self.” There will be the imposition of ashes and communion.
First Communion Pre-confirmation students who want to receive the Lord’s Supper should pick up a registration form and have their parents sign it. Turn your forms in today or next Sunday as classes will begin on February 17th.
Altar Guild and worship assistants meeting tomorrow evening, February 11th at 7:00 pm.
Re-Birthday Party We’ll have food, fun and fellowship as we celebrate together the most important day of our lives - - - the day of our adoption into God’s family in Christ.

The celebration is from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on TODAY in the Parish Hall.

Cause of the Month February - Peoples City Mission

Provides food and shelter for homeless persons and families. Some classes are offered to assist people in becoming self-sufficient.

Food Pantry In February, the Lincoln Cluster Food pantry needs Juice, macaroni and cheese dinners, cereal, and canned tomato products (tomato paste, tomato sauce, etc.) The food pantry’s shelves are bare—please make a donation if it’s possible. Cash donations are used for immediate needs. To donate cash, place it in the collection plate, clearly marked “Food Pantry”.
Flower Chart The 2008 Flower and Sanctuary Lamp chart is now posted in the office window. There are still plenty of dates available. Please stop and sign up for your favorite date. Flowers are $25.00 a bouquet, and the Sanctuary Lamps are $10.00 per month. Only one Sunday has been filled for the month of February.
