CROP Walk Today! Please walk or sponsor the hunger event that start here at ALC this afternoon. Registration begins at 1:30 pm.
Thrivent Thrivent Fall Festival/Election Event will be held TODAY from 12:30-3:30 pm at Lincoln Lutheran Jr/Sr High School, at 56th & Holdrege Streets.
Pastor Henry will be gone to the Theological Conference in Kearney, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
Crossways will be introduced soon. We will start with an introductory course, which should last a couple of months, and the materials are pretty reasonable. Later, we will have full blown Crossways. For as good as the course is, the money spent for the whole course will be some of the best money you’ll ever spend.
All Saints Lutheran Church at 82nd and Pioneers will be hosting and exciting concert. The Watoto Children’s Choir will be performing on Thursday, October 25th at 7:00 pm. They are all children from Uganda who have been orphaned by the AIDS epidemic and the civil war. They are raising money to send back home in order to continue providing homes, food and education for the children.
Fish & Chicken @ St. Andrews A fund raiser lunch to help feed hungry children - an ELCA World Hunger Project. On Sunday, October 21 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. Free Will Offering. See poster in the narthex.
Cause of the Month October - The ARC of Lincoln/Lancaster County

Donations for containers of honey support the ARC which raises awareness about developmental disabilities and provides services for people with developmental disabilities

Food Pantry In October, the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry needs macaroni & cheese dinners, canned juices, spaghetti-o’s or canned ravioli, and canned tomato products. We ask that you do NOT donate expired food—it will be discarded. THERE IS A REAL NEED FOR FOOD AND/OR CASH DONATIONS AT THIS TIME. To donate cash, place it in the collection plate clearly marked “Food Pantry”.

PLEASE REMEMBER OUR 75TH ANNIVERSARY GOAL TO FILL THE BARREL FOR THE PANTRY. LET’S SEE IF WE CAN FILL IT AGAIN BY OCTOBER 21ST.

Christ in our Home The October, November, December issues of Christ in Our Home are on the table in the Narthex.
75th Anniversary Music Event will be on Sunday, October 21st, at 6:30 pm. This will be a joyful evening of celebration in song! Beginning at 6:30 pm, the musicians and all musical ensembles of American Lutheran Church will share. Please join us as our Christian family celebrates together.
