Sanctuary Lamp The candles for the month of September are given to the glory of God by Kathy Linke for all he has done.

Early Bird Registration It’s time to start planning for summer 2008 at Carol Joy Holling Camp. If you register before September 30, 2007 you qualify for the Early Bird Discount of $35.00 from CJH. Registration forms are on the table in the Narthex if you are interested.
Sound Board Operators We are trying to set up a refresher meeting /info meeting with Mid-State Sound to help us understand our system better. If you’re interested, talk to Pastor about days and times so we can make an appointment.

75th Anniversary We welcome Pastors Jerry Lundby and David Smith who are with us today as part of our celebration.
Thrivent Thrivent Fall Festival/Election Event, will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 12:30-3:30 pm at Lincoln Lutheran Jr/Sr High School, at 56th & Holdrege Streets. The Lancaster County Thrivent Chapter is hosting a fall festival for Thrivent members and guests. Thrivent will be serving a traditional free family picnic. Please notify your Thrivent church coordinators, Keith Spilker, Bill Lang, or Olie Ahlquist and let them know you are coming.
Christ in Our Home The October, November, December issues of Christ in Our Home are on the table in the Narthex. We have both the regular and large print copies available. Please pick one up.
Cause of the Month September - Lutheran Student Center Campus Ministries

The mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Student Center Campus Ministry located at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is to conduct, support, and interpret a Lutheran ministry in higher education for all students in the Lincoln metropolitan area. This ministry has its roots in the Christian community, gathered by the Spirit, through the proclamation of the Word of God and the Celebration of the Sacraments.

Food Pantry In September, the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry needs juice, macaroni and cheese dinners, canned beans - baked, chili, kidney, etc., and beef stew.. Cash donations are used for immediate needs. To donate cash, place it in the collection plate clearly marked “Food Pantry”.
Third Grade Bibles On September 30 a bible will be given to Breanna Stege who is our only third grade student this year.
