Early Bird Registration It’s time to start planning for summer 2008 at Carol Joy Holling Camp. If you register before September 30, 2007 you qualify for the Early Bird Discount of $35.00 from CJH. Registration forms are on the table in the Narthex if you are interested.
Looking for Floral Chart Volunteer We need a person to co-ordinate between the florist and church members in ordering altar flowers. If interested, please inform Pastor, Clarice or Kathy Collier – 421-8128.
Sound Board Operators We are trying to set up a refresher meeting /info meeting with Mid-State Sound to help us understand our system better. If you’re interested, talk to Pastor about days and times so we can make an appointment.
Lost! Connie McDowell is looking for her large round pyrex bowl with a dark green lid. She brought a salad to church for the Hagerman funeral and hasn’t been able to locate it since then. If you mistakenly took the wrong bowl home, please return it to church so Connie has her set complete.
Please Lock Doors! Please make sure you lock the doors after you have had an event at church. We have been slipping a little with that lately.
Lights Lights have been left on in the Fellowship/Parish Hall. The lights in the fellowship hall need to be turned all the way until they click. Even the rotary switch needs to click.
Crossways The following people will be gone to the “Crossways” bible study in Minneapolis, MN this week from Sept. 16-21. Pastor and Cheryl Thorberg, Dale and Nancy Clay, Bruce and Marcia Worth, Dave Dermann, and Patrick Aden. Please keep them in your prayers.
Office Hours I will be having a change in my office hours while my husband is recovering from recent knee surgery. I will have to take him to physical therapy; so on those days I will be in the office from 12 to 5 pm instead of my usual 9am – 2 pm. Thanks for your cooperation. Clarice

Cause of the Month September - Lutheran Student Center Campus Ministries

The mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Student Center Campus Ministry located at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is to conduct, support, and interpret a Lutheran ministry in higher education for all students in the Lincoln metropolitan area. This ministry has its roots in the Christian community, gathered by the Spirit, through the proclamation of the Word of God and the Celebration of the Sacraments.

Food Pantry In September, the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry needs juice, macaroni and cheese dinners, canned beans - baked, chili, kidney, etc., and beef stew.. Cash donations are used for immediate needs. To donate cash, place it in the collection plate clearly marked “Food Pantry”.
Third Grade Bibles On September 30 a bible will be given to Breanna Stege who is our only third grade student this year.
