| Congratulations | A baby daughter, Bryn Lee Sharpe, was born to Sam Sharpe on August 5th. Her grandmother is Claire Sharpe. |
| Congratulations | to Eldon and Natalie Stege. They had a son, Kyle Benjamin Stege, born on August 14th at St. Elizabeth’s’. Mother and baby are both doing fine. |
| Dinner Club | The ALC dinner club will be meeting TODAY, at Cici’s Pizza, (located in the Northridge Mall.), after the 10:30 am worship service. This is open to all members and friends of the congregation - please join us for good food and fellowship. |
| Rally Day | Rally Day/Sunday school celebration will be held on Sunday August 26th. This is going to be a time to register your student for Sunday school, meet the Sunday school staff, and have fun at our carnival. We encourage everyone to attend and get your children enrolled in Sunday school. Nancy has many new things planned for the coming year. Also, if anyone is interested in becoming a teacher or assisting in any way, please contact Nancy Clay. |
| Envelopes | American Lutheran is now using a direct mailing program for distributing offering envelopes. Envelopes are mailed from our distributor directly to your home on a bi-monthly basis. We must provide the mailing list for the November-December mailing to our distributor on September 15, 2007. If you have changes to your address or want to either start or stop receiving envelopes, changes must be submitted to Clarice or Joel Bacon no later than September 12. Thank you. | Early Bird Registration | It’s time to start planning for summer 2008 at Carol Joy Holling Camp. If you register before September 30, 2007 you qualify for the Early Bird Discount of $35.00 from CJH. Registration forms are on the table in the Narthex if you are interested. |

| Food Pantry | In August, the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry needs juice, canned fruit, soups, and Hamburger Helper. Cash donations are used for immediate needs. To donate cash, place it in the collection plate clearly marked “Food Pantry”. |
