| 75th Anniversary | Pastor Joe Marek will be our guest Pastor next Sunday, July 22nd for our 75th anniversary celebration. |
| Christmas in July | We are collecting items for the Samaritan’s purse Christmas gift program during our Christmas in July. Check with Carol Meedel if you need more information! |
| Food Pantry | In July, the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry needs Hamburger Helper, juice, macaroni & cheese or ramen noodles, and canned dinners (beef stew, ravioli, soup, etc.) Cash donations are used for immediate needs. Place your donation clearly marked "food pantry" in the collection plate. |
| New Member Class | The new members meeting will be on July 22 at 9:45 am. Since the preponderance of those who will be joining are coming from other Lutheran Churches, we will simply meet to get acquainted with each other before that happy day of your welcome! |
| Thrivent Financial for Lutherans | Sunday, August 5 at 6:05 pm is Faith and Family Night at Haymarket Park. Lincoln's Saltdogs will play the St Joseph Blacksnakes. The "No Better Cause" Christian band will be featured that evening. Every Sunday is Family Fun Day sponsored by McDonald's. Enjoy fun and games for all ages, plus you never know when Ronald McDonald will make a special appearance! The Lancaster County Thrivent Chapter is offering reserved tickets at $3 per person. These can be ordered through your local Thrivent church coordinators by July 20. The tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve bases. This would make a great outing for families, friends, and fellowship or youth groups. |
| Meals on Wheels | Every day of the week and every week of the year, Tabitha Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver about 325 hot, nutritious meals to Lincoln area residents. Trying to be self-sustaining, Tabitha has established the MOW Endowment Fund to provide ongoing interest income to help offset their operation deficit. Tabitha wants to raise $200,000 in endowment donations by November, 20007. Please consider generously contributing to this MOW Endowment Challenge to support the community of Lincoln and Lancaster County. |

July - Nebraska Prison Ministries Nebraska Synod Prison Ministries is an outreach program that partners Followers of Christ congregation inside the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP) with: * the Bridge, a prison aftercare ministry operated by Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, * the FEAST ministry of Our Savior’s in Lincoln, * the Rolling Hills cluster prison ministry near Tecumseh, and * the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. |

| Congratulations | to Joe Stehlmach on his great taste and his engagement to Jeanne Kramer. She’s the youth worker from Shepherd of the Hills that Pastor enjoyed working with at Bible Camp this year. |
| Bible School Registration | Bible school will be held July 23-July 27 from 5:30-8:00 pm. Registration forms are on the small table in the Narthex.. Please be sure to register your children and any others who might like to attend. |
