Home Communion Pastor will be conducting a training session for people interested in taking home communion to our shut ins. Please check with Pastor as to a day and time that works best for you.
Bible School There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex for anyone interested in helping with Bible School this year. Bible school will be held July 23-July 27 from 5:30-8:00 pm.
Graduating Seniors This morning the women of the ELCA will honor the graduating seniors from American Lutheran Church with a quilt made by the women. Those graduating from ALC this year are Oliver Keller, Michael Krause, Matthew Krumm, Jessica Martin, and Justin Spilker. Congratulations!
Food Pantry In June the Lincoln Metro Parish Food Pantry is in need of canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned meat and tuna, boxed meals. Cash donations are used for immediate needs.
New Member Class A new member class will be starting on July 1, 2007. If you are interested in joining ALC please let Pastor Henry know.
75th Anniversary Event Next Sunday, June 24th, Pastor Jerry Lundby who served ALC from 1978-1989 and Pastor David Smith, who did his internship here at ALC,will be our guest Pastors. The message will be delivered by Pastor Lundby.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is hosting Lutheran Night at the Ball Park on Saturday, June 30th, at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha. The Omaha Royals vs. Oklahoma Redhawks game starts at 6:00 pm with gates opening at 4:00 pm. Get your $2 tickets (regular ticket price is $8) at the Thrivent table at the game or reserve your tickets on-line at http://ballpark.eventbrite.com. While you’re at the ball park, take time to go through the Thrivent Builds Mobile on display from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
