| Home Communion | Pastor will be conducting a training session for people interested in taking home communion to our shut ins. Please check with Pastor as to a day and time that works best for you. |
| Bible School | There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex for anyone interested in helping with Bible School this year. Bible school will be held July 23-July 27 from 5:30-8:00 pm. |
| Graduating Seniors | This morning the women of the ELCA will honor the graduating seniors from American Lutheran Church with a quilt made by the women. Those graduating from ALC this year are Oliver Keller, Michael Krause, Matthew Krumm, Jessica Martin, and Justin Spilker. Congratulations! |
| Food Pantry | In June the Lincoln Metro Parish Food Pantry is in need of canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned meat and tuna, boxed meals. Cash donations are used for immediate needs. |
| New Member Class | A new member class will be starting on July 1, 2007. If you are interested in joining ALC please let Pastor Henry know. |
| June Youth Event | The youth will be going to Champions Fun Center today. We will meet at Champions at 2:00 pm. Please join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. Friends are also welcome. |
| 75th Anniversary Event | We welcome Pastor Allan Sortland as our guest pastor this morning. Pastor Sortland served at American Lutheran Church from 1972-1978. |
| Thrivent Financial for Lutherans | is hosting Lutheran Night at the Ball Park on Saturday, June 30th, at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha. The Omaha Royals vs. Oklahoma Redhawks game starts at 6:00 pm with gates opening at 4:00 pm. Get your $2 tickets (regular ticket price is $8) at the Thrivent table at the game or reserve your tickets on-line at http://ballpark.eventbrite.com. While you’re at the ball park, take time to go through the Thrivent Builds Mobile on display from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. |
