Home Communion Pastor will be conducting a training session for people interested in taking home communion to our shut ins. Please check with Pastor as to a day and time that works best for you.
Open House There will be an open house celebration next Sunday, June 3rd, from 3-6 pm. in the Parish Hall to honor Clara Nordbrock on her 100th birthday. The congregation is invited to attend. If you are unable to attend, cards can be sent to Clara at – Haven Manor – 6330 Platte Ave. – Lincoln, NE 68507.
Confirmation Faith Statements This morning Kay Kulek and Brooke Bernadt will give their Faith statements at the 8:15 am service; and Brandon Krause and Eli Keller will give their faith statements at the 10:30 am service

NLOM Camp scholarships of 50% are provided to any youth member of ALC who is of camping age to attend camp at CJH. Family Discounts of $25.00 for each child of the same family attending a full or mini week session are also available. Sorry no discounts for taste of camp.
Bible School There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex for anyone interested in helping with Bible School this year. Bible school will be held July 23-July 27 from 5:30-8:00 pm.
Graduating Seniors Please let the church know if you or someone in your household is or will be graduating this spring. This is from high school, college, or master program and beyond. We want to recognize your great accomplishment.
Food Pantry In May, the Lincoln Lutheran Cluster Food Pantry needs toothpaste (small or large), crackers, canned beans (Kidney, red, chili, baked, etc.), instant potatoes, canned fruit, and bars of soap. Cash donations are used for immediate needs.
52 Verses in 52 Weeks! We at ALC are embarking on a year-long journey of memorizing a Scripture verse each week. Each Sunday morning, a Bible verse from that morning’s lessons will be included on a small card in your bulletin—feel free to take it home with you. Additional cards will be available in an envelope outside Matt’s office. Today’s verse is from John 14:16
Cause of the Month May - Mourning Hope

A grief support network for children, teens and families.

Mourning Hope’s mission offers the following services to the Community.

• Support Groups of peers who have experienced the death of someone significant.

• Community Education: Training is provided for volunteers and community members on grief related topics and speakers who are available to speak to community groups.

• Networking Outreach: Collaboration with community groups to offer grief day camps in the summer and winter, lending library of grief material available for community use, and consultation and referral service for community services.
