| Peoples City Mission Clothing Collection | The PCM has placed a clothing collection barrel in the Narthex for the month of April. They will be collecting two types of clothing – good clothing to give to the needy and unusable clothing they use to recycle. It would help if you would separate the types into different bags. |
| May Youth Event | May Day baskets will be made by the youth and delivered to Tabitha Home on May 29th at 4:00 pm. |
| Open Doors | Having found several doors unlocked recently, we are going to have to watch to make sure the doors are locked when we leave the building. Thank you! Property Committee |
| Male Vocal Concert | The 12th annual “Brothers in song . . . singing on!” concert of male vocal music will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner, at 7:00 pm TONIGHT! |
| Out of Office | Clarice will be out of the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. Carol Meedel will be answering the phones and covering for me on those days. Thank you! |
| Envelopes | American Lutheran is now using a direct mailing program for distributing offering envelopes. Envelopes are mailed from our distributor directly to your home on a bi-monthly basis. We must provide the mailing list for the July-August mailing to our distributor on May 14. So, if you have changes to you address or want to either start or stop receiving envelopes, changes must be submitted to Clarice or Joel Bacon no later than May 12. Any changes received after that date will be made for the September – October mailing. Thank you for your cooperation. |
| Habitat Build | Habitat is pleased to announce that the dedication of the Faith Build will be on May 5th, 9:00 am, 1011 Sumner Street. We encourage everyone to join us in this celebration. A family in need will have a safe, affordable home. Come & meet the family & see what our volunteers have accomplished in a few short months. |
| 52 Verses in 52 Weeks! | We at ALC are embarking on a year-long journey of memorizing a Scripture verse each week. Each Sunday morning, a Bible verse from that morning’s lessons will be included on a small card in your bulletin—feel free to take it home with you. Additional cards will be available in an envelope outside Matt’s office. Today’s verse is from John 10:27 |

| Food Pantry | In April, the Lincoln Lutheran Cluster Food Pantry needs canned beans of all types, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese dinners, and canned meats. Cash donations are used for immediate needs. Place your donation clearly marked "food pantry" in the collection plate. |
| Marvel Meter | Wow! Have you checked the Marvel Meter? We have reached our first goal of 1000 lbs. of food. We have collected 1218 lbs. of food. Keep up the good work! |
